Time to go to Maasai Mara, the migration started. The big animal migration in East Africa, “The Big Migration”, two million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles wander through the Mara Serengeti ecosystem in search of food. They cross some rivers, crocodiles lurk in the water, lions, leopards and other cats of prey waiting on the shores. Any nature lover who has experienced the great animal migration will try to repeat this journey. In July, the first herds from the Serengeti begin to migrate to the Massai (Maasai) Mara. August and September are the best travel seasons. In these months the probability is very high to observe the river crossings. Photographers should be equipped with telephoto lenses, 400 to 600 mm focal length, or a 28 – 300 mm zoom lens. A monopod is very helpful.

Site SeeingAfter breakfast, drive to Solio Game Reserve which is 5 minutes from the lodge. solio national reserve have the world's largest population of white rhinos. it is inhabited by different species of wildlife such as buffalo, zebra, giraffe, oryx, antelope,Thompson's gazelle, impala, waterbuck and warthogs. lions and cheetah can also be found. After lunch in the lodge, have an afternoon game drive until evening.
